Cristina and Vincent are an Italian-French couple. and they crowned their dream of love by getting married in one of the oldest churches in Rome: Santo Stefano degli Abissini inside the Vatican City.

After getting ready at her parents’ home north of Rome Cristina went to the Church wearing a very elegant dress. Vincent was already inside the Vatican to welcome her.
Founded in the time of Pope Gregory III in the 8th century this church was originally part of a monastery.
After the ceremony was over, the bride and groom drove to the Vatican Gardens, just a short walk from the church, in their cute, flaming red Diane 2cv classic car!
The Vatican Gardens occupy about two-thirds of the surface area of Vatican City and have been the Pontiff’s place of rest and meditation since 1279 and having the privilege of being able to photograph within such a wonderful setting made us extremely happy. Great are the historical and artistic testimonies found in the gardens such as the ancient Leonine Walls and the two grand circular towers, called the Radio Tower and Gregorian Tower, the fountain of the Galera, the fountain of the Eagle and the twentieth-century grotto of the Madonna della Guardia. The backdrop to all these important symbols of history and faith is nature: plants, trees, flowers, shrubs, creepers from all over the world that make the garden in any season of the year a riot of colors, scents.
Waiting for them in the Italian garden of Villa Aurelia are their international guests.
Cristiana and Vincent after entering the elegant Villa joined the toasts and celebration. The lemon garden hosted the luncheon on a cool late September day. The multi-tiered cake was cut on the panoramic terrace overlooking Rome. Vincent and Cristiana’s first dance opened the dancing inside the Aurelia Room, which with its refined design provided their guests with fun in style until the end!
