Hi, I am Massimiliano, a wedding photographer and videographer living in Rome.
My passion for photography began as a child when my father, also a photographer, gave me my first camera, a Nikon FM, at the age of 14; from that moment I began to photograph everything that intrigued me, from the shadows of Rome’s buildings to people’s faces. Over time I realized that what I was most passionate about the medium of photography was (and is) the extraordinary ability to record any moment that could move me. Hence the conviction that my passion should at all costs, become my way. So, after various experiences I create the photographic studio “Nabis Studio,” inside which, after moving from fashion to still-life, I understand that I wanted to dedicate myself to people, to their emotions and that in the wedding reportage I would find the perfect way to tell their life, their “perfect day.” Since 2005 I have been joined by Chiara Ridolfi, who actively contributes to the growth of the studio and the enrichment of our common vision.
Awards and Recognition
As a wedding photographer, over the years I have strived to develop a spontaneous and elegant look, thanks to which I have done photo shoots for national and international magazines ( ELLE, VOGUE, BAZAAR, VANITY FAIR, WEDLUXE, MAHARANI WEDDINGS ). Some of the most prestigious international associations of wedding photographers have awarded my work BOWP, ISPWP, FEARLESS, WPS, YPWP, MIWP, MYWED, SHOTKIT,THIS IS REPORTAGE. I have now stopped competing and I dedicate myself to being among the judges of various international wedding photography competitions, this excites me a lot because I see in new photographers the passion I still have in me in taking photographs at weddings.
