Maurizio and Ayshwarya are an Italian-Indian couple who chose Italy to celebrate their wedding at Villa Erba on Lake Como.
The day before the indu ceremony Maurizio and Ayshwarya also held the Sangeet party , the traditional Indian pre-wedding party at theSheraton Hotel. After finishing the Mehndi ritual and putting on her makeup, the bride-to-be joined Maurizio in the hotel garden where everything was decorated for the party. To the rhythm of music they were greeted by their guests who were moved by the sight of them. After a quick dinner the dancing began under rows of illuminations. It was beautiful to see them dancing and moving in such colorful clothes: different cultures were now coming together.
The next day was the big day. Ayshwarya got dressed with her bridesmaids who helped her with the many details and jewelry at the Sheraton Hotel.

Maurizio at Villa Erba, also surrounded by the affection of his friends, was helped by his parents to wear the traditional Indian sari. Aysha wore red skirt and bodice, Maurizio the white sari.
The ceremony was staged on a lakeside terrace on a late August morning.
The first to make his entrance into the ceremony was Mauritius accompanied by Indian singing and dancing. After that it was the turn of Aysha and her family. The wedding was full of meaningful moments and characteristic symbols and colors.
In the blink of an eye we were projected into their tradition.
After the ceremony was over, the bride and groom and some of the friends followed us for a few photos in their traditional clothes.
After a short afternoon break, we met up with the couple for the boatphoto shoot.
The light had fallen and was reflected in the lake water creating beautiful effects. Upon returning, the bride and groom joined their guests for drinks in the garden in front of the villa, and after a group photo we moved to the indoor hall for dinner.
