Wedding at Castello di Torcrescenza

The castle of Tor Crescenza, or also castle of Crescenza, is located in Rome in the Grottarossa area. In the 11th century on the Via Flaminia, the Crescenza was a tower placed to guard the Roman countryside, with the presumably function of sending news to other nearby towers. During the 12th and 13th centuries, other buildings of various heights were erected next to the tuff tower, connected to each other, which began to define a complex structure with an irregular plan whose completion would have to wait until the 16th century, when it took on the typical features of the Renaissance castle maintained to this day. Today the castle is an elegant and luxurious location and is used for various events including weddings and film sets.
